Transgender Day of Remembrance Countdown 2024
What is Transgender Day of Remembrance?
Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20th that honors the memory of transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. It was founded in 1999 by transgender advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith to memorialize the murder of Rita Hester in Allston, Massachusetts.
Significance of Transgender Day of Remembrance
